Reliable Connectivity
The Teltonika RUT901 features 4G LTE Cat 4 with speeds up to 150 Mbps download and 50 Mbps upload, with fallback to 3G and 2G networks. Dual SIM slots plus optional eSIM (up to 7 profiles) provide redundant connectivity with auto-switch scenarios including weak signal, data limit, roaming, and network failure. SIM idle protection prevents SIM cards from being blocked by periodically switching to the unused card.

Teltonika RUT901 is built with an aluminium housing and IP30 rating, the RUT901 withstands harsh industrial environments with an operating temperature range of -40°C to 75°C. The router includes four Ethernet ports (1 WAN + 3 LAN) for wired connectivity and 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi with Access Point and Station modes, supporting up to 100 simultaneous clients. A digital input (0-30V) and digital output (30V/300mA) enable automation and event-driven actions. The 4-pin power connector supports 9-30 VDC with reverse polarity protection and passive PoE over LAN1 (Mode B).

Teltonika RUT901 has advanced security features include a preconfigured firewall, attack prevention (DDOS, SYN flood, SSH/HTTP attacks), and access control. VPN support includes OpenVPN (27 encryption methods), IPsec (IKEv1/v2, 14 encryption methods), WireGuard, PPTP, L2TP, GRE, DMVPN, SSTP, and ZeroTier, ensuring secure remote access.

The Teltonika RUT901 supports Modbus TCP, OPC UA, DNP3, DLMS/COSEM, BACnet, and MQTT, enabling integration with SCADA systems, utility meters, building automation, and IoT platforms. The Modbus MQTT Gateway allows sending commands and receiving data from Modbus servers through MQTT brokers.
Management & Monitoring
The router can be managed via WEB UI, SMS, SSH, TR-069, SNMP (v1/v2/v3), and JSON-RPC. Teltonika RMS provides centralized remote management for firmware updates, configuration, and monitoring across multiple devices. The hotspot/captive portal feature supports internal/external Radius authentication, SMS authorization, and customizable landing pages
