The HI-FOCUS HD-NVR-7240I is a 40-channel Network Video Recorder (NVR) designed for large-scale IP surveillance systems. HI-FOCUS HD-NVR-7240I  it supports up to 40 IP cameras with recording resolutions up to 16MP and delivers 400Mbps incoming and 400Mbps outgoing bandwidth. When AI functions are enabled, the recorder supports 320Mbps incoming and 200Mbps outgoing bandwidth, ensuring efficient performance for intelligent video analytics.

The recorder supports Smart H.265+, H.265, Smart H.264+, and H.264 video compression technologies to optimize storage utilization and bandwidth efficiency. HI-FOCUS HD-NVR-7240I  it features HDMI output up to 4K (3840 × 2160) and VGA output up to 1080P, along with multiple display layouts supporting 1, 2A, 2B, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 12, 13, 16, 20A, 20B, 25, 32, 36, and 40-screen views. The recorder also supports 16-channel simultaneous playback for efficient video review.

The HD-NVR-7240I offers advanced AI capabilities through both compatible cameras and the NVR itself. AI by Camera includes Tripwire, Double Tripwire, Perimeter Protection, Object Abandon/Missing, Loitering, Running, Parking, Heatmap, Crowd Detection, People Counting, Safety Helmet Detection, Smoke and Fire Detection, Face Detection, Face Recognition, Smart Alarm, and Human & Vehicle Classification. AI by NVR supports Face Recognition, Video Structuralization, Smart Motion Detection, Tripwire, Perimeter Protection, People Counting, Heatmap, and additional intelligent analytics. The recorder also supports up to 20 face libraries with 100,000 face images for face recognition applications.

For storage, the recorder includes two SATA interfaces, supporting up to 10TB per hard drive, with backup via USB, eSATA, and network. Connectivity options include dual Gigabit RJ-45 Ethernet ports, USB 2.0, USB 3.0, RS-232, and RS-485 interfaces.
