The CP PLUS CP-E38Q is an indoor Wi-Fi pan-tilt security camera designed to provide continuous visual monitoring with controlled remote access through a smartphone application.

The CP-E38Q uses a 1/2.7-inch 3MP CMOS image sensor capable of recording video at a maximum resolution of 2304 × 1296 at up to 20 frames per second. Video is compressed using the H.265 codec to reduce storage usage while maintaining image clarity. The fixed 4mm lens offers a diagonal field of view of 107°, with pan and tilt movement up to 355° horizontally and 75° vertically, allowing broad room coverage from a single installation point.

The CP-E38Q supports motion detection and motion tracking, automatically rotating to follow detected movement within the frame. Human body detection is supported to differentiate people from other moving objects, enabling more targeted alert notifications. Audio features include a built-in microphone and speaker with G.711A audio compression, supporting two-way communication and echo cancellation.

Infrared night vision is enabled through six IR LEDs, providing monochrome visibility up to 15 meters in complete darkness. A built-in siren is supported for audible alerts when suspicious motion is detected. Privacy mode allows the camera’s view and recording to be blocked when monitoring is not required.

Connectivity is limited to Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n on the 2.4 GHz band. Storage is supported via a microSD card up to 256 GB, with cloud recording also supported. The camera operates indoors only and is powered by a 5V DC supply via USB Type-C.
