For nighttime surveillance, the camera provides an infrared range of up to 250 metres. Image enhancement features include up to 120dB Wide Dynamic Range (WDR), 3D Digital Noise Reduction, Day/Night ICR, defog, and backlight and high-light correction. These features support image adjustment in challenging lighting conditions.

With 360° endless pan and a tilt range of -5° to 180°, the camera supports flexible coverage across large areas. Its PTZ functions include auto-tracking, up to 300 presets, eight cruise groups, and four pattern groups. Motion detection and tampering alerts support event monitoring, while optional Intelligent Video Analytics (IVA) includes functions such as people counting, line crossing, intrusion, loitering, and retrograde detection.

The camera supports H.265, H.264, and MJPEG video compression with quad-stream capability and resolutions up to 5MP. Sparsh SS-EN412P-I network features include ONVIF Profiles S, G, M, and T, access for up to 20 users, and security technologies such as AES-256 encryption, HTTPS, signed firmware, and secure boot.
