Lexar ARMOR 700 2TB Portable SSD uses a USB 3.2 Gen 2×2 interface with manufacturer-rated performance of up to 2000MB/s read and 2000MB/s write when connected to compatible host devices. Actual speeds depend on the host system, interface support, and usage conditions.
The enclosure is rated IP66 for resistance to dust and high-pressure water exposure and is tested for drop resistance up to 3 meters under controlled conditions. These characteristics are intended to improve durability during transport and handling, but do not imply complete waterproofing or unlimited environmental protection.
The Lexar ARMOR 700 2TB Portable SSD supports direct Apple ProRes video recording when used with compatible devices, including iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max, at resolutions up to 4K 60fps as specified by the manufacturer.
Power is supplied directly over USB, eliminating the need for an external power source. Included accessories provide both USB Type-C and USB Type-A connectivity options for broader system compatibility.
Security software is included to enable 256-bit AES encryption for supported systems, helping protect stored data when configured by the user.
