The Lexar SL500 1TB Portable SSD is an external solid-state storage device that connects via USB 3.2 Gen 2×2 for fast data transfer on supported host systems.
Lexar SL500 1TB Portable SSD offers up to 2000MB/s read and 1800MB/s write speeds when used with devices that support USB 3.2 Gen 2×2; performance may be lower on systems limited to other USB standards. The drive is USB-powered and requires no external power source.
The compact aluminum unibody design is lightweight and portable. The enclosure is rated IP54 for dust and water resistance and is tested for drop resistance up to 2 meters under controlled conditions. The drive includes a USB-C to USB-C cable and uses Lexar DataShield software with 256-bit AES encryption for file protection.
Compatibility includes Windows, macOS, Android, iOS devices that support external storage, and other USB-C-enabled systems. The product does not include wireless connectivity, internal battery, or standalone recording functionality.
