The Lexar SL200 1TB Portable SSD is an external solid-state storage device designed for users who require increased portable storage capacity while maintaining USB 3.1 connectivity.
It provides sequential read speeds of up to 550MB/s and write speeds of up to 400MB/s, allowing faster file transfers and access compared to traditional external hard drives. The 1TB capacity supports larger media libraries, project files, and system backups.
The solid-state construction has no moving parts, contributing to resistance against vibration and operation within manufacturer-specified temperature limits. An LED activity light indicates active data transfer status.
To protect sensitive information, the drive supports 256-bit AES encryption. Users can create password-protected encrypted storage areas, and files deleted from the encrypted safe are securely erased, as specified by the manufacturer.
Connectivity is provided through the included USB Type-C to Type-C and USB Type-C to Type-A cables. The SL200 is specified to support macOS 10.6 and later and does not include wireless, network, or outdoor-rated features.
