It supports sequential read speeds of up to 550MB/s and write speeds of up to 400MB/s, enabling efficient transfer of large files compared to traditional external hard drives. The 2TB capacity is suitable for extensive media collections, archival storage, and large backup sets.
The solid-state design includes no moving components, contributing to resistance against vibration and operation within the manufacturer’s specified temperature range. An LED activity indicator displays drive status during file transfers.
For security, the SL200 includes a security solution supporting 256-bit AES encryption. This allows users to create password-protected encrypted storage areas, with secure erasure of deleted files from the encrypted safe, as specified by the manufacturer.
The drive connects using the included USB Type-C cables and is specified to support macOS 10.6 and later. It does not provide wireless connectivity, network access, or certified environmental protection.
