Lexar SL200 512GB Portable SSD provides sequential performance of up to 550MB/s read and 400MB/s write, enabling faster file access and transfers compared to traditional external hard drives. The drive is available in multiple capacities and connects using the included USB Type-C cables.
The enclosure has no moving parts and is designed for durability during everyday portable use. An integrated LED activity indicator shows drive operation during data transfers.
For data protection, the SL200 includes a security solution supporting 256-bit AES encryption, allowing users to create password-protected encrypted storage areas for sensitive files. Deleted files within the encrypted safe are securely erased, as specified by the manufacturer.
Operating system support is specified for macOS 10.6 and later. No wireless connectivity or network features are included.
