The TP Link VIGI C445 (4 mm) is a 4-megapixel turret network camera designed for fixed-angle professional surveillance applications where longer viewing distance and accurate event classification are required. It uses a 1/2.7-inch progressive scan CMOS image sensor and delivers a maximum resolution of 2688 × 1520, providing detailed image capture for identification and monitoring tasks.
This 4 mm fixed-focal-length variant offers a horizontal field of view of 80.4°, making it suitable for monitoring entrances, corridors, parking lanes, and perimeter boundaries. The TP Link VIGI C445 supports infrared and white-light illumination with a range of up to 30 m, enabling visibility in complete darkness. A mechanical IR-cut filter ensures proper day and night operation.
Advanced analytics include human and vehicle classification, intrusion detection, line-crossing detection, region entry and exit detection, loitering detection, object abandoned and object removal detection, abnormal sound detection, and scene change detection. These features are designed to reduce false alerts caused by irrelevant motion.
Audio functionality is supported through a built-in microphone and speaker, enabling two-way audio communication and audio recording. Audio is encoded using G.711 alaw with environmental noise filtering. Video compression formats include H.265+, H.265, H.264+, and H.264 with configurable bit rates.
The TP Link VIGI C445 connects via a wired Ethernet interface and supports both PoE (802.3af/at) and 12 V DC power. Local storage is available through a built-in microSD card slot supporting cards up to 512 GB (not included). The metal enclosure is IP67-rated for outdoor use and operates reliably in temperatures from –30 °C to 60 °C.
