EdgeRouter X (ER-X) is a compact, high-performance 5-port Gigabit router designed to meet the demands of modern networking for home and small business environments. Featuring five Gigabit Ethernet ports, this versatile router ensures seamless connectivity for high-speed internet access, data transfers, and network stability.

Powered by EdgeOS, it delivers advanced routing, firewall, and network management capabilities. Users can configure static routes, VLANs, and comprehensive security features with ease through an intuitive graphical user interface or a powerful command-line interface for advanced configurations.
One of the standout features of the router is its Power over Ethernet (PoE) passthrough capability on port 5, allowing the device to power a compatible PoE-enabled device such as an access point or IP camera, simplifying deployment and reducing the need for additional power adapters.
Its robust hardware includes a dual-core 880 MHz processor and 256 MB DDR3 RAM, ensuring reliable performance for demanding tasks. The compact design allows for easy placement, while the fanless operation ensures quiet performance and low energy consumption.
