TP-Link Archer AX12 or Deco E4 mesh – which one fixes bad bedroom Wi-Fi when your router is in the kitchen?
The Archer AX12 in AP mode is the better fix. If your ISP router sits in the kitchen and your bedroom is one room away with a weak signal, running an Ethernet cable to an AX12 set to Access Point mode gives you full-speed Wi-Fi 6 right where you need it - without the speed cap that makes the Deco E4 a poor fit for most broadband plans above 100 Mbps.
Why mesh is overkill for this layout?
