The Teltonika TSW212 Managed Ethernet Switch is an industrial-grade managed switch designed for reliable and flexible network connectivity in industrial and professional environments. Teltonika TSW212 it combines 8 × Gigabit Ethernet ports with 2 × SFP ports, allowing connected devices to communicate over copper Ethernet as well as fiber-optic links. The switch provides Layer 2 management with additional Layer 3 features, giving network administrators greater control over network traffic, routing, security, and connected devices.
The TSW212 supports a wide range of industrial and networking protocols, including PROFINET, EtherNet/IP, MRP, SNMP v2/v3, and LLDP. PROFINET Class B conformance is available with the applicable optional order code. Network management features include VLAN, STP/RSTP, LACP, IGMP Snooping, port isolation, port mirroring, DHCP, and advanced port configuration options.
For advanced traffic management, the switch supports static IPv4 and IPv6 routing as well as dynamic routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF v2, RIP v1/v2, and EIGRP. Security capabilities include 802.1x port-based access control, MAC filtering, RADIUS, TACACS+, pre-shared key authentication, and controls for blocking unauthorized login or IP attempts. QoS features include port, DSCP, 802.1p, and TOS prioritization, along with bandwidth control and port-based traffic shaping.
The TSW212 is powered through a 2-pin industrial DC power socket and supports a wide 7–57 VDC input range with reverse polarity protection. Teltonika TSW212 it delivers 20 Gbps non-blocking bandwidth, a forwarding rate of 14.88 Mpps, an 8K MAC address table, and jumbo frame support up to 10,000 bytes, making it suitable for demanding network environments requiring efficient data handling.
Management and monitoring are supported through the TSWOS operating system, Web UI, CLI, SSH, FOTA, RMS, and Teltonika Networks Web API. The switch also provides diagnostic tools including cable diagnostics, ping, traceroute, and nslookup. Teltonika TSW212 its anodised aluminium housing, integrated DIN rail bracket, IP30 protection, and -40°C to 75°C operating temperature range make it suitable for a wide range of industrial installations.

Best Suited For
- Industrial Automation Networks – Ideal for connecting PLCs, controllers, industrial equipment, and networked automation systems.
- Factory and Manufacturing Environments – Suitable for managed network infrastructure in production facilities and industrial plants.
- Fiber-Connected Industrial Networks – Well suited for installations requiring both Gigabit Ethernet and SFP fiber connectivity.
- Industrial IoT Deployments – Suitable for connecting sensors, controllers, gateways, and other network-enabled industrial devices.
- Advanced Managed Network Infrastructure – Best for applications requiring VLANs, routing, QoS, access control, network monitoring, and traffic management.
Not Suited For
- Basic Unmanaged Networks – Not the best choice for simple plug-and-play networks where advanced management features are unnecessary.
- Outdoor High-Exposure Installations – Not recommended for direct outdoor use where protection higher than IP30 is required.
- Networks Requiring Multi-Gigabit Ethernet – Not suitable for applications that require 2.5G, 5G, 10G, or higher Ethernet port speeds.
- High-Power PoE Applications – Not suitable for powering PoE devices because this model does not provide PoE output.
- Small Home Networking Setups – Its industrial construction and advanced L2/L3 management features may be excessive for basic residential networks.
