Does TP-Link AC1200 Support Mesh?

Yes, some TP-Link AC1200 routers support mesh, but not all of them. It depends on the specific model.

"AC1200" is a Wi-Fi speed class, not a router model. TP-Link sells several AC1200 routers, and their mesh support varies.

For example, TP-Link Archer C6 supports OneMesh, allowing it to create a mesh network with compatible TP-Link range extenders. On the other hand, many older AC1200 routers do not support any mesh technology.

If you already own an AC1200 router, check its product page or user manual for support for OneMesh or EasyMesh. These are the two mesh standards commonly found on TP-Link routers.

Keep in mind that OneMesh and Deco Mesh are different systems. A OneMesh router cannot become a Deco mesh router, although it can work alongside a Deco network in certain setups.
