Which wifi router has the longest range?

The TP-Link Archer AX73 is a strong candidate for the longest range wifi router, delivering close to 2,000 sq ft of coverage in independent testing. 

Routers built with six or more antennas, a high-power FEM (front-end module), and a 4T4R antenna configuration on the 5 GHz band cover the most ground from a single unit. 

Range comes down to a few specific factors: antenna count and configuration, transmit power, and how well the router's processor handles devices at the edge of its coverage. 

More antennas in a 4T4R setup means four transmit and four receive streams working together, compared to the 2T2R or 3T3R setups found in most budget routers, which drop off in range much sooner.

That said, no single router covers a large, multi-floor home the way a mesh system can.

 Concrete walls, which are standard in Indian construction, absorb wifi signal aggressively, and a single router, however powerful, has a physical limit. 

For homes under 2,000 sq ft, a router like the Archer AX73 is the right answer; for anything larger or spread across multiple floors, a mesh system solves the problem more reliably than chasing a longer range on one router.
