The PRAMA PT-NR2A08-Q1 is an 8-channel Network Video Recorder (NVR) designed for IP-based surveillance systems requiring centralized video recording, monitoring, playback, and storage management. It supports up to 8 IP cameras with recording resolutions up to 8MP and provides HDMI output up to 4K (3840 × 2160) along with VGA output for local display. The PT-NR2A08-Q1 supports H.265+, H.265, H.264+, H.264, and MPEG4 compression formats and provides up to 80 Mbps incoming bandwidth and 80 Mbps outgoing bandwidth for handling multiple camera streams. PT-NR2A08-Q1 includes Smart Search and Smart Playback functions for video retrieval, along with VCA detection alarms and two-way audio support. The recorder is designed to record, store, and manage surveillance footage while supporting a wide range of recording resolutions from QCIF up to 8MP.

PT-NR2A08-Q1 features a single SATA interface supporting hard drives up to 6TB for local video storage. Connectivity options include a 10/100/1000 Mbps RJ45 Ethernet interface, HDMI and VGA video outputs, RCA audio input and output, and two USB 2.0 ports for backup and peripheral devices. The recorder supports TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, NTP, SMTP, NFS, iSCSI, UPnP, and HTTPS network protocols and operates on a 12V DC power supply in a compact 1U chassis, making it suitable for continuous IP surveillance recording and management.
